Tonight, the 92nd Street Y, New York's renowned cultural and community center, opens its 2008-2009 season with Joan Baez in conversation with Anthony DeCurtis. This is the first of more than 375 concerts, conversations and readings this season with cultural icons and world leaders including Bill Clinton, Wynton Marsalis, Keith Hernandez, Meryl Streep, Pinchas Zukerman, Toni Morrison and many more. To launch the season and the Y's new logo (designed by Pentagram's Michael Bierut, the branding guru recently awarded the 2008 National Design Award from the Smithsonian's Cooper Hewitt), 92Y has posted an on-line video challenge that features the faces of 92 prominent people...
