Stock Fraction Interim Dividend 2008 AEGON N.V. Determined at 1/27

On August 7, 2008 AEGON N.V. declared an interim dividend for the financial year 2008. Shareholders were given the choice to receive the interim dividend either in cash or in stock. The interim dividend in cash is EUR 0.30 per share of EUR 0.12 nominal and will be made payable as of September 15, 2008. Shareholders who elected an interim dividend in shares will receive one new AEGON common share for every 27 common shares. The stock fraction has been based on the average share price on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange over the period from September 1 up to and including September 5, 2008.
