ACS Facilitates Emergency Prescription Assistance Program Now Activated in Southern Louisiana

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE:ACS) announced that it is facilitating the Emergency Prescription Assistance Program (EPAP), now activated for residents in southern Louisiana in the wake of Hurricane Gustav. The EPAP program, established by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), processes claims for prescription medication and qualifying medical equipment to individuals without health insurance living in, or evacuated from, declared federal disaster areas.
