A.M. Best Affirms, Upgrades, Downgrades, Assigns and Withdraws Public Data Ratings on HMOs

A.M. Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength ratings (FSR) and issuer credit ratings (ICR) of 46 health maintenance organizations (HMOs), upgraded eight, downgraded five, assigned three and withdrew three. (See below for a detailed list of the companies and ratings.) A.M. Best's HMO public data ratings (pd) will be released regularly over the next two months. Each month, A.M.
