AFSA & AFMF Announce POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony at Air Force Memorial

The Air Force Sergeants Association and the Air Force Memorial Foundation will host a 9 a.m. POW/MIA Recognition Day ceremony Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at the Air Force Memorial. Speakers from the host organizations as well as a former MIA daughter representing the National League of POW/MIA Families will speak at this ceremony, which is open to the public. The focus of this ceremony is to ensure that America remembers its responsibility to stand behind those who serve our nation and do everything possible to account for those who do not return.
