Albertson's LLC Launches $4.99 Prescription Discount Program Covering Over 500 Generic Drugs

Albertson's LLC announced its new Albertsons Rx-tra Savings prescription discount program today, which will provide member households with discounts on all generic and brand name medications -- including up to a 30-day supply of over 500 generic drugs for only $4.99. The membership-based program will be offered in all of the company's in-store pharmacies. Albertsons Rx-tra Savings program includes generic alternatives for some of the most commonly prescribed drugs used to treat disease states such as diabetes, asthma, depression, heart disease, thyroid and other health problems.
