AFC Enterprises Announces Preliminary Third Quarter Earnings in Line With Consensus Expectations

AFC Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ:AFCE), the franchisor and operator of Popeyes(R) restaurants, announced preliminary earnings per share and operational results for its fiscal third quarter which ended October 5, 2008. The Company also announced that its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the third quarter of 2008 will be filed on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, after market close. The Company will host a conference call on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. Eastern Time to review operating results and provide an update on its new strategic plan announced earlier this year.
