The following is a statement by Tig Gilliam, CEO of Adecco Group North America, on October's Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs report which was released at 8:30 AM ET. "Today the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported our 10th straight month of job losses as well as a 0.4% increase to the unemployment rate. Throughout 2008 we've seen national unemployment and job losses corresponding directly with increasing market turmoil, decreasing consumer confidence and the continuing credit crisis.
