Aeropostale Reports October Sales Results

Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE:ARO), a mall-based specialty retailer of casual and active apparel for young women and men, announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended November 1, 2008 increased 9% to $127.4 million, from $116.4 million for the four-week period ended November 3, 2007. The Company's same store sales increased 1% for the month, compared to a same store sales increase of 3% in the year ago period. For the third quarter of fiscal 2008 total net sales have increased 17% to $482.0 million, from $412.6 million in the year ago period. For the third quarter same store sales increased 7%, compared to a same store sales increase of 2% last year. ...
