1-800-GOT-JUNK? Holds Eight-State Truck Relay to Bring Laptops to Washington D.C. for Charity

At least a dozen 1-800-GOT-JUNK' franchise partners have collected more than 150 laptops and are currently 'relaying' them across states to bring them to a charity in Washington D.C. Project Red Dot refurbishes semi-new laptops and donates them to schools and orphanages in Africa. Project Red Dot, a registered non-profit organization, is the brainchild of Washington D.C. 1-800-GOT-JUNK' franchise partners, Mark and Claudine Rubin.
