APDA Elects Joel A. Miele Sr. National Board Chairman and CEO

Joel A. Miele Sr. was elected as the American Parkinson Disease Association's (APDA) seventh president yesterday (Sun., Dec. 7) at its annual meeting in New York City. He succeeds Vincent N. Gattullo. Mr. Miele, a Queens, N.Y. resident and APDA board member and officer for more than 23 years, is a professional engineer who has served as commissioner of the New York City Planning Commission, Board of Standards & Appeals, Coastal Commission, Department of Buildings and Department of Environmental Protection.
