AirTran Airways Customers Affected by Winter Storms May Change Travel Plans Without Penalty



January 2nd, 2009

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE:AAI), advises passengers that due to a severe winter weather system moving across the Midwest, some flight operations may be affected later today and tomorrow.

Passengers holding reservations for travel scheduled December 16 through December 17, 2008, on AirTran Airways to, from or through Bloomington, Ill., Akron-Canton, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Chicago, Ill., may make a change without penalty as long as changes are made within three days from the date of the original scheduled departure date, based on space availability without change fees or fare adjustments.
