Akerman Senterfitt announced that Monesia Taylor Brown has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Government Affairs and Public Policy Group, residing in the firm's Tallahassee, Florida office. Ms. Brown will be focusing on state and federal government relations matters on behalf of Akerman clients. She joins Akerman after 10 years of public service for the State of Florida, the last two years as Director of the Agency for Workforce Innovation (AWI), under Governor Charlie Crist, whom she previously served as Special Counsel during his tenure as Attorney General.
