Active Day Begins Construction On New Center in Merrillville

As Lake County’s population draws closer to the 500,000 mark, so does the need for more medical adult day services in the area, according to Kris Baldock, CEO of Active Day, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of medical adult day services and personal home care companies. Active Day, Inc. will begin construction on its second medical adult day care center in Lake County on March 3, 2009 in Merrillville, IN. “We expect to have a waiting list when we open in May,” said Baldock, who has seen an increase in census in Munster’s Active Day as well as the other five centers throughout Indiana in 2009.
