Is it a Real Tattoo? Or, Is it Jagua?

A natural skin dye used by indigenous tribes in the Amazon jungle is poised to become the next wave in temporary body art. Indistinguishable from real tattoos, the juice of the jagua fruit stains the skin blue/black for 10 to 14 days, then disappears completely. Without needles, tattoo artists can cater to the under-18 set; and anyone can experiment with a design before going permanent. Unlike henna tattoos, jagua tattoos look so real people can live vicariously - facial tattoos, a boyfriend's name across the chest. Why not' It isn't permanent - and he's probably not either!
