Employees of small Illinois businesses can now obtain preventive health care services without being charged a co-pay, under a new suite of plans being offered by Aetna (NYSE: AET) called “Wellness on Us” plans. “With today’s economy, reducing out-of-pocket costs is more important than ever,” said Robert Mendonsa, president of Aetna’s North Central Region small and middle market business. “Smaller companies want to provide high-quality, affordable plans for their employees,” said Mendonsa. “But at the same time, they’re afraid some workers will shy away from getting preventive screenings if they have to pay out of their own pockets.
