Pigeon Point Systems Ships ATCA Starter Kits Based on Actel Fusion Mixed-Signal FPGA

Adding to its growing portfolio of management solutions for the expanding TCA market, Pigeon Point Systems and its parent, Actel Corporation (NASDAQ:ACTL), announced that Pigeon Point Systems is now shipping AdvancedTCA(R) (ATCA) Board Management Reference (BMR) starter kits for Actel's Fusion(R) mixed-signal FPGAs. These new, comprehensive development platforms for ATCA hardware platform management employ the Actel Fusion mixed-signal FPGA, an embedded 32-bit ARM(R) Cortex(TM)-M1 processor and Pigeon Point FPGA designs, board schematics and firmware.
