Pier Village Wins 2009 NJ Governor's Tourism Award

Pier Village, the Victorian-inspired mixed-use development situated along the oceanfront in Long Branch, NJ, has been honored with a 2009 New Jersey Governor's Tourism Award. David Barry, President of Applied Development Company, Pier Village's developer, accepted the prestigious award from New Jersey Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells and New Jersey Travel Industry Association Chair Marilou Halverson at the annual Governor's Conference on Tourism held April 2nd at Trump Marina in Atlantic City. Pier Village was among ten organizations in the state that were honored from what tourism officials said was an unprecedented number of nominations....
