'Exercise is Medicine On Campus' Launches With National Call to Action

A national program focused on connecting health care providers and the public on the benefits of physical activity is now infiltrating college campuses nationwide. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) announced "Exercise is Medicine(TM) On Campus," a program component to address and expand exercise and physical activity in the unique university and college environment.

EIM On Campus will be unveiled during a national call-to-action event at Chatham University, May 8, 2009, asking colleges and universities to join the national movement that will expand education and access to health and fitness information to students and faculty. The event will bring together...
