Advanced Life Sciences Holdings, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ADLS) , a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of novel drugs in the therapeutic areas of infection, oncology and respiratory diseases, announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2009. The net loss allocable to common shareholders for the three months ended March 31, 2009 was $2.3 million or ($0.06) per share compared to a net loss allocable to common shareholders of $3.6 million or ($0.09) per share for the three months ended March 31, 2008.
