Finnish Defense Selects Accenture to Transform its Enterprise Resource Planning Solution

Finnish Defense has selected Accenture (NYSE: ACN) to transform its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution into a defense industry solution by extending current functionality with new industry-related features. Under the terms of the contract, Accenture will design, deliver and maintain Finnish Defense’s SAP defense industry solution that focuses on logistics, human capital services and business intelligence reporting. The SAP DFPS (Defense Forces & Public Security) implementation will also help Finnish Defense expand and enhance its material management, procurement, maintenance and financial administration functions.
