AK Steel (NYSE:AKS) said that it has been selected as a "Certified Supplier" of high quality, grain-oriented electrical steels by the AREVA Transformer and Distribution (T&D) Division of AREVA. The award is being presented in a ceremony today in Washington, D.C.
