'The Hidden Story': Poetry Inspired by Author's Struggle with Depression, Addiction

In his turbulent youth, Jeff Bresee battled clinical depression and addiction and recovered, but later years and the pressure of being a father and husband found him facing the same problems. During this period of depression Bresee created the poetry of his book, "The Hidden Story: The Poetry of Jeff Bresee" (published by AuthorHouse). "Depression and addictions brought me to a state where I wasn't doing anything artistic anymore, and while in this state of darkness I started writing a story that I was suddenly and unexpectedly inspired with," says Bresee. "Writing has turned out to be the most powerful weapon I know of against the demons in my life." ...
