Akron-Canton Airport has Second Best May Ever; Up for 2009

Passengers throughout Northeast Ohio continue to discover why Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) is a better way to go(R). A less stressful travel experience, close parking and affordable flights are keeping passenger figures strong despite the economic downturn. In fact, CAK is one of a few in the country experiencing an uptick in ridership. A total of 121,398 customers traveled to and from CAK in May 2009, a .15% increase from May 2008 beating it by 177 customers. This makes May 2009 the airport's second best May of all time.
