ABL Settles Its Dispute with Stanford University and Endorses Stanford’s HIVdb Website and Other Globally Available Research and Not-for-Profit Websites

Advanced Biological Laboratories SA (ABL) announced that it has signed a Patent Immunity Agreement and has dismissed all claims against Stanford University, thus resolving any disputes related to ABL US patents 6.081.786, 6.188.988 and their foreign equivalents, ensuring the free access for all uses to Stanford and all the Stanford researchers and related parties. In exchange, ABL obtained free access to Stanford's US Patents RE38352, 5.856.086 and 5.631.128 and their foreign equivalents. The Patent Immunity Agreement between ABL and Stanford University involves patents from both parties.
