Alkane, Inc. Announces U.S. Patent Filing on High Energy Synthetic Fuel

Alkane, Inc. "Alkane" (Pink Sheets: ALKN) announced that it has filed for a U.S. patent on its newly developed high energy synthetic fuel, Syn-Fuel. Syn-Fuel is the operative ingredient in the company's flagship product, diesel fuel additive Monster Diesel(TM), which started shipping earlier this month. According to the Energy Information Administration's International Energy Outlook 2008, the world "will require 50% more energy in 2030 than it did in 2005 ... almost all of which will be derived from synthetic and bio fuel sources."
