ValueOptions Wins Maryland Mental Health Contract

ValueOptions , a national behavioral health care company based in Norfolk, Va., has won a contract to provide administrative services for children and adults in Maryland's Public Mental Health System.

ValueOptions Maryland has set up a service center in Linthicum, where 51 jobs will be created. In addition, 37 positions within ValueOptions' national operation will service the Maryland center.

Through the state's Public Mental Health System, beginning Sept. 1 ValueOptions will manage behavioral health services for 708,000 Medicaid enrollees and 100,000 people receiving mental health care through PMHS.
