California medical clinic begins construction on patient care building

Scrambling to keep pace with burgeoning patient demand, Riverside Medical Clinic formally launched a building and renovation program with the groundbreaking of a $27 million, four-level medical building that will be the flagship of a new patient care campus.

"Today we enter a new era in the 70-year history of our medical group," Steven E. Larson, MD, chairman and chief executive officer of the 100-physician medical group said. "Riverside Medical Clinic has outstanding talent and the latest technology, but some of our facilities have become outdated and we also need to expand physically to accommodate the recruitment of 23 physicians over the next 4 years."
