Inhaled corticosteroids and antileukotriene drugs may be best treatment for asthma

A new study provides support for the combined therapy of inhaled corticosteroids and antileukotriene drugs in the treatment of asthma. The study, "Bronchial responsiveness to leukotriene D4 is resistant to inhaled fluticasone propionate", can be found in a recent issue of the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI), the peer-reviewed journal of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI).
