Patients with mesothelioma experience immunosuppression.

According to recent research from the Netherlands, "Malignant mesothelioma is a cancer with dismal prognosis. The objective of the present study was to address the role of the immune system, tumor microenvironment and potential immunosuppression in mesothelioma."
