ACS Selected for $156 Million Contract With State of Tennessee

Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE:ACS) announced the Tennessee Bureau of TennCare's intent to award a new contract for the TennCare Management Information System (TCMIS). The proposed contract has a length of five years and an evaluated total value of $156 million, and must be negotiated and executed prior to ACS commencing operations.

The proposed contract calls for ACS to assume responsibility for the current TCMIS used by the state for the management of its Medicaid program.
