Marshall Named President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma

Effective June 2, Bert Marshall will become the leader of the state's largest private insurer, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, accepting the position of president.

Marshall came to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma in 1996, most recently serving as vice president of external operations. At different times Marshall also has overseen GHS Property and Casualty, BlueLincs(R) HMO, corporate communications, government relations and the Oklahoma Caring Foundation.

Before joining the not-for-profit insurer, Marshall was vice president and director of operations for another Oklahoma insurance company, with responsibility for its group accident...
