SCAN Health Plan Arizona Announces Launch of New Medicare Advantage Plan in Maricopa County

Senior Care Action Network (SCAN), a not-for-profit health plan serving seniors and others with Medicare, will expand its offerings in Maricopa County in 2009 with the addition of a new Medicare Advantage Plan. As a result, Medicare-eligible individuals living here will be able to choose SCAN as their health plan during the upcoming Medicare open enrollment season.

The Medicare Advantage Plan will be the third product offered by SCAN in Arizona. The company also offers a Medicare Special Needs Plan for Medicare beneficiaries enrolled in the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS).
