Recent studies add new data to neuroscience research

Investigators in Italy and the United States have published new neuroscience data.

Study 1: The role of TRPV1 channels in the rat mesencephalon has been elucidated.

"Dopamine (DA)-containing neurons of the ventral tegmental area (VTA) provide dopaminergic input to the nucleus accumbens and to the prefrontal cortex within the mesolimbic pathway," neurologists in Italy explained.
