Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan-owned DenteMax Acquired by Dental Network of America

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan announced that its DenteMax dental network leasing subsidiary has been acquired by Dental Network of America, LLC (DNoA), a strategic move that -- coupled with a business arrangement between BCBSM and DNoA -- will provide BCBSM with a more competitive dental product offering that will include a larger national dental network. The dental network growth will be matched with a renewed emphasis by BCBSM to integrate medical and dental benefits into a comprehensive approach that takes advantage of the relationship between oral health and overall health.
