Hand sanitizer provides greater than 99% kill against influenza A in studies

Skinvisible, Inc., (SKVI), through its wholly owned subsidiary Skinvisible Pharmaceuticals, Inc., announced that its patented antimicrobial hand sanitizer demonstrated a greater than 99% kill in laboratory studies against the influenza A virus.

"Our studies performed at an U.S. Food and Drug Administration-compliant laboratory confirm that our antimicrobial hand sanitizer product may help in preventing the spread of the Influenza A virus caused from hand to hand and surface to hand contact," says Skinvisible's chief executive officer Terry Howlett.
