New heart bypass surgery study findings recently were reported by researchers at University of Ottawa, Division of Cardiac Surgery

New research, "Off-pump coronary surgery through mini-incisions: is it reasonable," is the subject of a report. According to a study from Ottawa, Canada, "Coronary artery bypass grafting as currently performed is considered the gold standard of coronary revascularization. It also, however, is a potential source of complications, especially in patients with multiple co-morbid risk factors."
