Investigators in Denmark, the United States and Sweden have published new diabetes data

Research data from Denmark, the United States and Sweden update diabetes knowledge.

Study 1: Scientists discuss in "Plasma concentrations of osteoprotegerin during normo- and hyperglycaemic clamping" new findings in diabetes. "Plasma levels of osteoprotegerin (OPG) are elevated in subjects with diabetes as well as in non-diabetic subjects with cardiovascular disease. In previous studies a positive correlation was found between plasma levels of OPG and markers of glycaemic control in diabetic subjects," scientists in Aarhus, Denmark report.
