New findings in glaucoma risk factors described from Ankara Education and Research Hospital

A new study, 'Incidence and risk factors in secondary glaucomas after blunt and penetrating ocular trauma,' is now available. "This retrospective study was designed to evaluate the risk factors for the development of posttraumatic glaucoma after ocular trauma. Data were obtained from the records of 102 patients (105 eyes) that experienced blunt or penetrating ocular trauma and presented to our center between January 1987 and April 2006," scientists writing in the Journal of Glaucoma report.
