Study results from M. Cabre and colleagues update understanding of clinical medicine

"The most commonly used prognostic mortality indexes for pneumonia take into account several variables including comorbidities, physical examination results, and laboratory test results, as well as age. Other factors such as functional status are not included," scientists writing in the journal Medicina Clinica report.
