Good News Care Center Receives $5,000 Tau Grant from Allegany Franciscan Ministries, Inc.

The Good News Care Center, a health clinic ministry located at 101 South Redland Road in Florida City that provides free access to primary care for those in need who are uninsured, announced that it has received a $5,000 Tau Grant from Allegany Franciscan Ministries Inc. for a Diabetes Education Project. The project includes bi-monthly lectures at the clinic on diabetes related topics taught by Louise Exelbert, a diabetes counselor from South Miami Hospital.
