Reports summarize heart attack prognosis study results from S.D. Anker and co-researchers

New investigation results, 'Prevalence, incidence, and prognostic value of anaemia in patients after an acute myocardial infarction: data from the OPTIMAAL trial,' are detailed in a study published in European Heart Journal. "The prevalence, incidence, and prognostic value of anaemia in patients with an acute myocardial infarction (AMI) complicated by heart failure is unclear. We analysed the relationship between haemoglobin (Hb) and outcome in 5010 patients with AMI complicated by heart failure in the OPTIMAAL study," scientists writing in the European Heart Journal report.
