Metabolic status affects markers for glomerular filtration rate

"The present study was performed in newly diagnosed diabetic children to evaluate the effect of metabolic derangement on routine tests for glomerular filtration rate (GFR)," scientists writing in the journal Pediatric Nephrology report.
