Disodium chromoglycate doesn't help kids with asthma

After 35 years of use, advice has changed and doctors are no longer recommended to prescribe disodium cromogycate (DSCG) to children with asthma. New research, just published in The Cochrane Library, defends this change of heart. It concludes that there is no evidence that DSCG reduces asthma symptoms in children. The reviewers suggested that "publication bias" could have led to DSCG appearing better than it really is.
