Patient enrollment completed in phase IIb CART-2 study with AGI-1067

AtheroGenics, Inc., (AGIX) has recently completed enrollment in a phase IIb clinical trial evaluating its proprietary v-protectant drug candidate, AGI-1067, as a treatment for atherosclerosis and post-angioplasty restenosis. This clinical trial, referred to as CART-2, will evaluate the drug's effect on atherosclerosis as reflected by the change in plaque volume in coronary arteries.
