Sinclair Pharmaceuticals Ltd. has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration registration (510k) for Atopiclair as the first prescription emulsion designed to relieve the symptoms of atopic dermatitis, irritant contact dermatitis, and radiation dermatitis. Atopiclair is topically applied to the area of inflammation and provides a hydrolipidic moisturizing effect, relieving the itching associated with common dermatoses. Clinical data shows that the formulation provides symptom relief from the symptoms of atopic dermatitis without adverse systemic reactions.
