U.S.-Russian initiative to intensify cooperation in fight against disease

The U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) has announced an initiative to increase research collaborations with scientists from Russia on HIV/AIDS and related infections, including tuberculosis and hepatitis C. It is part of a larger U.S-Russian HIV/AIDS Cooperation Initiative that Presidents George W. Bush and Vladimir V. Putin discussed during their recent meeting at Camp David.
