Bill Gates foundation to give $25 million to southern Indian state

The money will come from a $200 million grant pledged by the Seattle-based foundation to help contain the disease in India, which has the world's second-highest number of HIV-infected people. The foundation's donation to Karnataka state is the first joint project with a state agency in the country.
