Study reviews the biology, diagnosis, and treatment of meningiomas

Researchers review treatments for unresectable meningiomas and discuss the basis for various treatment approaches.

According to recent research published in the journal Lancet, "Meningiomas are by far the most common tumors arising from the meninges. Progressive enlargement of the tumor leads to focal or generalized seizure disorders or neurological deficits caused by compression of adjacent neural tissue."
