Xcelerant for use with Talent AAA Stent Graft System receives CE Mark approval

Medtronic, Inc., (MDT) announced CE Mark approval and market availability for the Xcelerant Delivery System for use with the Talent Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Stent Graft System.

The Talent AAA Stent Graft System is approved for use outside the United States for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms.

In addition, Medtronic announced the addition of new diameters and lengths for the Talent system, increasing the number of patients that could benefit from the device.

The improved deliverability characteristics of the Xcelerant Delivery System provides physicians with a smooth, controlled and more trackable delivery...
